Two new Bright additions

The Bright Group international has recently appointed two new agents to the company’s ever growing team.
New agent Jojo Henderson (right) has previously worked as a stylist and actor’s agent and will be instrumental in developing Bright’s trend-led portfolio, working with its clients on fiction projects.
To support Jojo, Bright has invested in developing a new portfolio of fiction artists. This has involved taking on 20 new illustrators who can create colour artwork and typography for covers and black and white linework for the 7+ market.
As a specialist agent, Jojo will be representing the fiction portfolio in all territories, working alongside James Burns and Lucie Luddington in the UK, Kirsten Hall in the USA and Seonghae Ha in Australasia.
Bright has appointed Gemma Cooper to work alongside Lauren Holowaty to continue to grow Bright’s literary arm.
Gemma has worked at literary agencies in both London and New York, and brings with her a wealth of children's book knowledge and expertise. Her aim is to expand both Bright’s picture book and fiction author portfolio, and to continue to build on its successes.
