Julien Chung partners with Department 56
Bradford Licensing LLC, the global brand licensing firm, has announced the partnership between Julien Chung Designs and Department 56, a division of Enesco, LLC, for multiple seasonally-themed giftware collections.
Graphic artist Julien Chung, best known for his highly creative animal themed artwork, is to begin working with Department 56 on his first collection of serveware and barware, including mugs, candy dishes, platters, and more.
Department 56 envisions the first collection as seasonal for the winter months, utilising Julien’s whimsical award-winning Penguin and Santa Bird characters.
Looking to the future, Department 56 sees the collection’s expansion into bar and glassware, including martini glasses and wine charms, whilst further down the line, a décor trim range of holiday ornaments, stockings, and many more.
Chung is eager to work hands-on with the creative team of Department 56, whom are allowing him creative reign over initial sketches.
With Department 56’s history of longevity and success in the giftware category and extensive experience in working with artists for unique product lines, Bradford has deemed this partnership a perfect match.
